This quote used to confuse me a little, because I have been the recipient of some very valuable crit sessions and criticism over the years.

But now I believe that this is much much truer than I first thought.

Artists reach down in their souls, gather up all the courage they can muster, and plaster their very being on canvases for the world to see.

Yes, the artist needs praise more than you could possibly think. Instead of feeding the ego, it encourages the artist to create again.

And who of us couldn’t stand more Encouragement
in our lives? It is pure oxygen for the soul… ♥

Yes, we all need that times a million.
