Do What You Love

Sometimes I spend hours and hours

experimenting and trying new things.

And sometimes I think I need to follow my own advice
and do what I love.

That's when I pull out my tiny grey marker

and my pastels.

My inner critic and I go 'round and 'round.

He says, "You've done stuff like this before.  Big deal.

And besides, it's too simple".

I guess it's a good thing I'm stubborn.  LOL

If I listened to him,

I'd never get anything made.
