New Neighbor

An owl seems to have taken up residence
in the hollow tree across the creek!

It's been in there several days in a row.

Yesterday I saw blue jays squawking and flying
and darting near the tree the way they do,
and you know how they are notorious for stealing eggs,

so I'm hoping it's a SHE, sitting on her nest!

Wouldn't baby owl neighbors be awesome?

p.s.  I can't tell you how rare it is for us to see an owl here.

We hear them all the time, hooting in the trees,
but we don't see them often at all,
so this ranks as High Excitement in our household.  LOL

Murder, She Watched

Oh, I just love watching

"Murder, She Wrote" with Angela Lansbury.

And this week my sweet (and very techno)

husband showed me how I can watch

TV on my iPhone with the cable app.

So, of course the first thing I thought of

was watching Jessica Fletcher!

I may not even growl the next time

I pay the cable bill.  LOL
