Sourdough bread starter

Here is a photo of some very happy sourdough bread starter. See how bubbly he is? He's been eating all day long.

I'll take one cup of him and make some dough tonight, and put the rest of him back into the refrigerator until next time. He's like a little pet. A very, very low-maintenance pet.
